THE HITMAN DIARIES

Production details:
In 2008 actor Daniel Caltegirone (The Pianist, The Beach) optioned the film & TV rights to The Hitman Diaries through his company, Stella Nova Productions, with the intention of producing it as a feature film/TV series. As part of a package he put together for potential backers he made a 10 minute teaser based on the first two chapters of the book. The film, though short, has high production values and some great performances from a strong cast.

I'm acredited as the writer (novel) on IMDB, but Daniel adapted the script himself from the original novel text.

The film was shot over two nights in January 2009 and screened to an especially invited audience a couple of months later at the Aubin Cinema, East London.

You can watch the film on-line by clicking a link to the director's website (below).
